It all started at Heavens Peak (a small new restaurant in Montana). Sam went with his best friend to work and travel Glacier where he met Amanda (who was working there as a fun summer job with her friend). They met through the screen door while Sam was outside and Amanda was cleaning the kitchen. He flashed a smile her way as he introduced himself. Amanda fell instantly in love. Something was different about this connection. To the old cliche, they felt sparks fly and the energy between them was palpable.

As the weeks went on, they became best friends and shared secrets, laughter and adventures. Quickly, their bond grew to more and it became something real. Their first date was under the starry night sky they fell in love, dancing to Kesha.

After a long, hot summer, Sam left for Missouri and their hearts were determined to make this love last a lifetime. Through long-distance their love continued to grow deeper and when they moved in together in January, the pieces fell into place.

Since moving into a cozy apartment with Amanda's cat and Sam's dog (who are like a feisty pair of siblings) they have grown through challenges and surpassed them all, gaining perspective and trust throughout the process.

The love these two share is insurmountable and will last a lifetime. They couldn't be happier to be getting married and knowing that they will spend the rest of their lives together. And to think, it all started with a spark.
