What date should I RSVP by?

Please kindly return your RSVP by July 15, 2025 using the pre-stamped and addressed envelope included with your invitation. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Can I bring my kiddos with?

Your invitation will indicate how many seats we’ve reserved for your family. If it doesn’t specifically include your children, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only (17+) celebration (with the exception of the children in our wedding party). While we love your little ones, the ceremony and reception aren’t the best setting for kiddos. That said, if you’re navigating childcare challenges, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the bride or groom — we’re happy to chat and will do our best to make it work so you can celebrate with us!

What is the dress code?

The dress code is Barn Semi-Formal. Celebrate in style, but leave the stilettos at home! Our venue has old barn floors and grassy areas. Dress to party but keep comfort in mind. The wedding colors are dusty blue, burgundy, eucalyptus and champagne - you are welcome to wear those colors or whatever you are comfortable in! We just ask that no dresses be white or dusty blue.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting, our Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be held outdoors, with the Reception taking place inside the barn. Just a heads up — the barn isn’t heated or air conditioned, so come dressed for the Wisconsin weather that day!

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Our Ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. We kindly ask that all guests be seated by then, so please plan to arrive a bit early to allow time for parking and walking to the Ceremony area.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We kindly ask that guests stay “unplugged” during the Ceremony — no photos or videos, please! We want everyone to be fully present in the moment with us, and we’d love for our professional photographers and videographers to capture the magic without a sea of cell phones in the background. We will have three professionals that will take great photos and we will share them with you! After the Ceremony, snap away and share the joy!

What's for dinner?

Dinner will be served buffet-style, featuring broasted chicken, a pig roast, baked ziti and various sides. We will also have some snacks during the Cocktail Hour.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! We’ll have good drinks and better company — while we can’t charge for booze, your tips and contributions to our bar/honeymoon fund are much appreciated!

What about gifts - and where’s your registry?

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift! Gifts are not expected or required, but if you do wish to give, you can find our full wedding registry here on our website under the “Registry” tab, where you can purchase directly from our wish list. While we’ve selected a few meaningful items, what we’re most excited about is creating unforgettable memories on our honeymoon - so if you'd like, we warmly welcome cash donations to help make that once-in-a-lifetime adventure come true!

Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotels?

There won’t be a shuttle to our preferred hotels, so please plan ahead for a safe ride home. Ubers and Lyfts are limited in the area, so we recommend coordinating a designated driver or carpooling. We love you and want you to have fun but be safe.

What's the best airport to use?

If you’re flying in for the big day, the closest airport is Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (about 50 minutes from Door County). You can also consider Appleton International Airport (1 hour 15 minutes away) or Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (around 2 hours 30 minutes away). We recommend renting a car, as ride shares are limited - plus, it’s a beautiful drive through Door County and gives you the freedom to explore the area!

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I'm in town for your wedding?

Yes! Check out the "Things to Do" tab of our website to see some of our favorite spots to eat, drink and explore in Door County.
