After 4.5 years together and at the end of a busy Summer Saturday in Miami doing all things Amanda loves to do (pancake breakfast, craft brewery, couple massage, Dave & Busters is when Jarrod finally got down on one knee. He had purchased me a special dress to go to dinner in South Beach because that was how he told me we would be ending our “Amanda Days” and that’s a treat cause even though we live 3 miles away from South Beach in Brickell we rarely go to South Beach. He had told me to hurry up and get ready cause he really wanted to walk the park on the water there before dinner. We walked up on a hill that gives you the view of the ocean, the inlet, South Beach, Downtown Miami, and Brickell and he told me he wanted to take a picture of me looking at the water. I asked him to take multiple of course and I finally turned back around and Jarrod was down on one knee. His words to me were perfect and with the ocean in the background made it an even more special and unforgettable moment. Afterwards, I was surprised again as the dinner he had planned for us was a dinner at a Greek Restaurant where both of our immediate family members were all waiting to celebrate with us!
