I had always wanted to meet my person in a unique and special way but growing up I never imagined it would be through an app swiping on my phone but after so many failed swiping experiences I swiped right on a boy from Buffalo in February 2017 who was a lawyer who had an extreme fear of flying on planes (YES.. that was on his Bumble profile) so I had fair warning of all the car rides and road trips that would be in my future. We spoke for a few days before Jarrod asked me on a date. We met at a craft beer bar in Cooper City. It got off to an awkward start but after a few beers and playing an intense game of Battleship together we both started connecting about our childhoods, our families, our careers, and our college experiences. That night ended with a kiss and then we continued going on dates which eventually turned into weekend trips and after he survived the Daginella Italian Christmas and some other intense moments I moved down to Miami in 2018 and we started living together and the rest is history.
