It all started in the fall of 2020 when Matt and I swiped right on Bumble, and little did we know, that simple match would turn into a lifetime adventure. From the very first messages, I thought: He’s smart, he’s cute, perfectly tall, and so thoughtful. At the same time, Matt thought: She’s blonde, beautiful, and funny.

We hit it off immediately, chatting late into the night. Before we knew it, we were planning our first in-person meet-up in Lynchburg, VA. That day marked the beginning of something special. We’ve been inseparable ever since.

Because life had other plans, we spent the next year and a half doing the long-distance thing. But distance doesn’t stand a chance when you know it’s meant to be. While miles separated us, our hearts were always together.

When Matt earned his nursing degree, he packed up and moved down to Florida, and our lives overflowed with possibility.

Since 2023, we’ve called Florida home. We’re both working as nurses now: Matt in the NICU, and me in Labor & Delivery. We’re doing what we love, side by side, and it’s a joy to share both this career path and this life.

Of course, our little family isn’t complete without Chip our Chihuahua, and Tilly our Yorkie. They're our adventure buddies, our world, and they go everywhere with us, from beach days to restaurant outings to quiet evenings on the couch.

We love exploring new places, trying new restaurants, getting out in nature, and making memories with our families. Some of our favorite moments have been spontaneous road trips, lazy beach afternoons, or cozy nights in with Chip curled between us.

On September 20, 2025, Matt got down on one knee and asked me to share forever, and I said yes. We’re so excited to celebrate our love and begin this next chapter. We’ve chosen to get married one year later, surrounded by friends, family, and all the joy in our hearts.

We hope you’ll join us to celebrate, not just a wedding, but us, two people who met online, fell in love, overcame distance, followed dreams, and now can’t wait to say “I do.” Your presence means the world, and we can’t wait to celebrate together.
