Amanda & Jacob were introduced by Jacob's sister-in-law, Grace Sell, and Amanda's friend (& Grace's sister), Liz Thiede. After a couple weeks of getting to know each other, Jacob & Amanda went on their first date to Antojitos Mexicanos in Appleton on January 18th, 2023. While expressing their life goals and love for Adam Sandler movies and 60's music, they decided to continue the date at Player 2, an arcade bar downtown. Their love story full of tacos, tequila, and competitiveness continues to this day.

What Amanda expected to be a couples photo session to get professional pictures for decorating the house was actually an engagement session! Jacob proposed to Amanda on the shores of Lake Michigan in Sheboygan, WI (specifically at Kohler-Andrae State Park).
