We met our sophomore year of high school and started to become close through joint classes and mutual friends. One of our running jokes was that Tim could not remember my name so he started calling me Blondie. We became closer throughout the years. It wasn't until around graduation weekend that Tim got up the nerve to ask me out. Family and friends suspected we would end up together even back then. We were inseparable that summer and ever since.

In the Fall, I went off to the University of Kentucky and Tim began his career as a mechanic. We cultivated a long distance relationship throughout my time at college. Though the distance was difficult, we made it through with lots of traveling and many FaceTime dinner dates.

While I was starting my senior year of college, Tim was making plans to propose. He was nervous when he asked my parents for permission and also enlisted the help of my friends to find the perfect ring. In preparation for traveling home for Thanksgiving break, Tim planned a special date for us. So on November 21, 2021, Tim took me to Great Falls, VA and proposed by the waterfalls. Next, since Tim knows I have always wanted to go to Ireland, he took me to an Irish pub where we celebrated with champagne. We ended the night how we end all of our date nights by getting ice cream.

I am so excited to be spending the rest of my life with my high school classmate, my long distance partner, and ultimately my best friend.
