Genuine. Caring. Loyal. These are just three of the many adjectives I could use to describe Cecilia. I never dreamed when I went to high school that I would meet someone who would become my best friend, sister, and Maid of Honor. Cecilia has supported me through my highest moments and helped carry me through some of my lowest points. She is genuinely the funniest person I know and makes every moment a fun time. I've known since we became friends that she would be in my life forever. I could not imagine anyone else as the person to help me throughout this special time of life.
Sophia Wallace - Bridesmaid
A question that gets asked a lot is, "Who do you admire most?" That question is an easy one to answer. I have known Sophia since we were in elementary school. I have had the privilege in getting to see her become one of the strongest, most driven, and intelligent women I know. She has the biggest heart and will constantly put others before herself. She is one of the most loyal and dependable people I know. There is not a doubt in my mind that I needed the person I admire most to be by my side on my wedding day.
Sammie Auclair - Bridesmaid
Even though she is younger than me, she is my oldest friend. Sammie and I have known each other since we were in preschool. We continued to go to school together until we were in 5th grade when I transferred schools. Even though we were not able to communicate frequently; when we did it was like no time had passed. Sammie has been present for almost all of my big life moments. Therefore, I could not imagine her not playing an active role in yet another one of my life changing moments.
Martika Perrine - Bridesmaid
When I was younger, Tika was my beautiful, older cousin that I looked up too. As I got older, we realized that we had a lot in common. Some of our interests include drinking passion fruit wine way to fast and dressing up our dogs. We have shared many laughs during late night sleepovers. Tika is fiercely protective of the people she loves and I feel lucky to be considered one of them. She is strong-willed, passionate, and loving. When I grow up, I want to be just like my cousin, Tika.
Anna Ostrander - Bridesmaid
Everyone has a person who was their first best friend. Mine happened to be my younger cousin, Anna. I cannot possibly count the number of sleepovers we had or how many games we created while playing in Grandma's basement. Since I am the youngest, I always felt like Anna was the younger sister I never had. Some of my best memories are all of our trips to the mall, practicing how to put on makeup, or going to museums. Anna is someone who I have always felt brought out a creative side in me. I cannot wait for her to continue to bring out my creative side when planning the wedding.
James McCloskey - Best Man
Growing up, you never quite realize that your older brother would become your best friend. Someone who has always been there for you when life became too difficult to handle alone. James has been by my side through countless attempts to sneak attack him and ambush his privacy (gotta love younger brothers). Living together has brought us to the realization that we are the two funniest people we know (besides Amanda). I cannot imagine having anyone else standing by my side on my big day. I promise no sneak attacks this time.
Peter Little - Groomsmen
I honestly do not remember how Peter and I first became friends. But, I am lucky that our paths crossed while we were attending Chelsea Academy. Pete is the Golden Boy of our group. He was the first to graduate college out of all of us, but that does not mean he is the smartest of us. He is the brains of our usually dumb ideas we produce that have created long lasting memories. I do not doubt he has something up his sleeve for Amanda and I's wedding to make it just as memorable.
Miguel Prado - Groomsmen
If you would have told me that Yung Gravy would be my best friend, I would have laughed in your face. However, I was not laughing the first time we met on the soccer pitch. He just so happened to be standing three feet away from me. And decided it was a good idea to kick the ball into a not so family friendly place. Who would have thought that idiot would still be my bestie. Princess, you are a one of a kind friend that I could never replace. Thank you for all the laughs and memories. But, most importantly thank you for joining me on my big day.
John Gilligan - Groomsmen
To the man I could only describe as the most lazy yet efficient mechanic that I know. I must admit, I thought you were a little stuck-up when I met you. But as the saying goes, "Never judge a book by it's cover." Later on, I realized you were someone I looked forward to working with everyday. You have helped me grow to be a better mechanic, a better prankster, and in someways a better man. I'm honored to have you join my big day.
Vincent Occhiogrosso - Groomsmen
"Vince, I might have lied." This is where I thought our friendship would have come to an end. Anyone who would like to know about this can reach out to me or Vince about this one. Seeing as you agreed to be one of my groomsmen means you value this friendship as much as I do. We have created a lot of memories over the years to playing basketball at 2 am to you slamming your door on my foot. The memories we have made will last me a lifetime. I am glad you will be there for all the rest.
