Q + A

Will food be provided at the Villa?

A light breakfast of croissants/baked goods, fruit, juice, and coffee will be provided for guests each morning at the Villa. With the exception of the Wedding reception dinner, guests are expected to procure their own meals. Please refer to the website for a list of recommended eats for each location.

Will transportation be provided?

No, transportation will not be provided. Please refer to this website for a list of local rental car businesses. If you need assistance please let Amanda and Edward know, the Villa owners are happy to reach out individually and help with these needs.

What should I wear to the ceremony?

The dress code for the ceremony is spring-time, semi-formal garden party (avoid white dress, haha). We want you to feel your most beautiful!

How much cash (euros) will you need?

Make sure you have a credit card with no foreign transaction fees that you can use for the bulk of your payments. You may want to call your credit card servicer to let them know the dates of your travel to avoid payment interruptions. One of the cheapest ways to get euros is to withdraw from an ATM with your debit card while in Italy. Depending on what you plan on doing, 200-300 euros should be a good place to start.

What is the weather going to be like?

Expect temperatures between 50-70 F. Make sure to pack at least some warm sweaters, coats for the cooler days and nighttime.

Should I get Travel Insurance?

If you have any medical conditions or concerns, you may want to consider purchasing medical travel insurance, or you may want to find out what your international coverage is through your US insurer. However, for straight forward visits, it should be fairly affordable if the need should arise without said insurance coverage.

Are there requirements for getting a rental car?

Yes! Most places (although our rental place gave Edward and I a pass for not having one our first time in Italy) require an international drivers license. They are easily attainable at your local AAA office. Just bring your US driver's license and pay a fee of $20 to get it same day.

Where will I be able to park when traveling around?

In each location, we've listed parking options to help assist you while looking.
