Transportation is not provided by the Villa or by us. However, if you need any assistance in planning your travel we have listed verified shuttle services, links to train and bus schedules, and local rental car locations. In addition, the Villa owners and coordinators are more than happy to help assist you in arranging your transportation. If you need extra guidance you can reach them at info@gallinaio.it and let them know you are with Amanda and Edward's party. You will be responsible for any related costs for whatever transportation they arrange for you and yours.

Shuttle services from Florence to Monteriggioni or Siena will be the least cost effective choice and is not recommended over a rental car service. However if you choose this accommodation these companies have decent reviews.

For rental car they may ask that you have an international drivers license, you can acquire one for around $15 from your local AAA and it is same day. You should double check with your rental company as to whether or not you will need one.

FROM FLR AIRPORT: Rentals are located at “Palagio degli Spini”, connected to the airport by a free shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes. The shuttle bus stops is inside the short term car park, just outside the terminal.
