Alex and Amanda's story begins in 2002, at hip hop dance classes hosted by their neighborhood gym. Growing up a 2-minute walk away from each other's houses allowed their sisterhood to flourish in ways their moms probably wished it didn't. Together they dropped out of Jewish Day School, shopped at Hot Topic, got their bodies pierced, skipped work to do arts and crafts, and chose to attend universities out of state. Sorry, moms!

Julie and Amanda spent every summer between the years 2000 - 2011 melting together at an outdoors camp in Miami. But things really got serious when they started hanging out during WINTER break, and learned they weren't interested in marrying the same Jonas Brother! These facts and experiences lead to a bond rooted in environmental preservation activism, good music, and the kinds of childhood memories you can only have by being in the sun for too long.

Amanda found Isaac on the internet in early March of 2020 and became his roommate 12 days later. Together the two endured all COVID lock downs and quarantines, during which they discovered they had been living parallel lives 1 year apart to the day, and on opposite sides of the country. Red flag: Isaac didn't let Jacob use our bathroom after the first date. Fun fact: Jacob and Amanda fought over who could have Isaac in their party.

Korina and Amanda met at a not-COVID-friendly Halloween party in 2020. The scariest part of the night was when Korina asked Amanda if she liked to play games, which left Amanda cautiously intrigued. What kind of games? Well, the answer has evolved over the years, but now they mostly play Trick Our Men Into Hanging Out With Each Other (even though the boys were friends first).

Is that Superman up there? No, that's just Mark. Jacob and Mark first met at the gym. Kidding! They met at WSU where they lived on the same floor of their freshman dorm. Now they enjoy beating up nerds on the internet together. Go Cougs!

Not all heroes wear capes, but Nathan does--on occasion. He goes by "The Wasp" and his wife is "The Queen." Their daughter is named after a Pokémon. Any questions?

Cody is Jacob's other son. Jacob has taught Cody how to stay safe on the internet, and to play piano while holding a stuffed creature. Cody is responsible for kicking off Landen's gamer career. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

Joey's first encounter with Jacob was at a dorm room Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament during freshman year at WSU. They later learned they were both in the Computer Science program. Joey taught Jacob that after completing difficult homework assignments at 11pm you get to exclaim "I'M GETTING A JOB!"

Derek is Jacob's cousin, and you can tell because they have conversations that nobody else can understand and they both get heated over Starcraft. Their brains are almost as similar as their brawn, in Jacob's dreams. Derek can talk to anybody about anything - dare you to try him.

Jacob and Jerdon met at work in 2018, which is great because there is no way they would have crossed paths at WSU even though they were in the same major. No longer coworkers, they still get together weekly for nerd things. Believe it or not, Korina is involved too. "Nerds!" - Amanda

Amanda's friend from Vanderbilt, "Monty" to Landen, and often described as "the cornerstone of our relationship" by Jake - give it up for our officiant, Alison! If you've seen this girl hit the karaoke stage, then you understand why she's running this show. And after the deed is done, you won't want to miss her on the dance floor, either!

Avery is Amanda's Hashem-daughter, and Bridesmaid Alex's biological daughter! At 4 years old, this girl can already back-in a car to park it. Just imagine what she can do with a basket of flower petals!

Jake's son and Amanda's soon-to-be step-son, Landen is the life of the party. If you can't catch him building games in Roblox, beating up Creepers in Minecraft or smashing his Lego creations together, he's probably battling Jake for first place in Mario Kart, or just kicking it in Beat Saber's Zen Mode.

Wally is the newest addition to the family! He hypnotized us at 13 weeks old, and now at one year his life's dream is to become a Dogfluencer - and he'll stop at nothing to get there. Don't look him in the eyes too closely, you might get lost. @mrwaluigik
