Do we have to stay at the resort to attend the wedding?
Yes, the resort requires us to have all guests attending stay at the resort AND use our promo code. Please use our wedding promo code "RMWOCT25FPM" when looking for rooms.
Can we book without using the Promo Code "RMWOCT25FPM"?
You must use our Promo Code to attend our Wedding. The resort will not allow others to attend the wedding who are not part of our wedding group. Using the code puts you and your family in our wedding group!!!
What day should we arrive and stay until?
We are requesting you arrive at least by October 5th, 2025. The resort requires at least a 3-night stay but we would love if you stayed as long as you want! We will be hosting a Welcome Party on October 5th, 2025 in the evening, arrive 1 day earlier to ensure you will make it to the party if desired.
What is the minimum night stay we can do?
The resort requires at least a 3-night stay.
Can I use a 3rd party service such as Expedia to book the room?
No! Rooms must be booked with our promocode "RMWOCT25FPM" direct on the website (https://www.finestresorts.com/cancun/finest-playa-mujeres/) or by calling (866) 211-6223.
How many people are allowed in 1 room?
The standard suites and "Finest" suites allow for up to 3 adults. Keep in mind, someone might have to sleep on the pull-out couch or cot unless you book the "Family Suites" [these have a king bed and 2 twin beds]. "Excellence Suites" only allow 2 people!
Is there a dress code for dinner each night at the resort?
It depends on what restaurant you pick for dinner. Most of the restaurants only require casual wear, but the fancier restaurants require the following:
Gentlemen: Long pants and collar shirt required.
Ladies: Long pants, Capri pants, skirt, blouse. Casual shoes or elegant sandals must be worn.
****T-shirts, tank tops, shorts or beach sandals are not allowed****

Is there a dress code for The Wedding?
Welcome Party: Beach Casual (short/long dresses, shorts, T-shirts, etc.)
Wedding: Beach Formal (long dresses, khakis, button-up shirts, etc.). No swimsuits or jeans. Light colors are preferred but not mandatory.
The resort also has a dress-code for dinner each night!
How do we get to and from the airport?
When you book with our wedding promo code "RMWOCT25FPM" you will get free round-trip transportation to the resort/airport.
You can request transportation directly on the room confirmation email or by emailing transfers@seasonstours.com. Please do this 2-3 weeks prior to arrival.
Should we bring a gift?
ABSOLUTLY NOT! We will NOT accept any gifts of any shape or size! Your presence at our destination wedding is the only thing we desire.
What day do we have to book our rooms by?
Rooms must be booked by August 1st. This is the absolute last day you be book your rooms to attend the wedding (NO EXCEPTIONS!!).
Are food and drinks included in the room total?
Yes! All food, drinks, and taxes are all included with the price displayed at initial booking. Choose from 12 different all-inclusive dining options and 14 different all-inclusive bar/lounge options.
What activities are there to do outside of the wedding?
Please see "Resort Information" tab to see all the included activities that come with the resort! Check out "Things to Do" to see excursions at an additional cost.
Are there paid-for excursions you recommend?
Day- trip to Chichén Itzá, day-trip to Xel-Há Park (Amanda's favorite), parasailing, swimming with dolphins, dinner cruising, day-trip to Isla Mujeres, ect. Check out the "Things to Do" tab!
Do I need a passport?
Yes, you must present a valid U.S. passport book or card at the Cancún International Airport upon arrival. Passports MUST be valid until 4/2026 to travel.
Is the Ceremony/Reception indoors or outdoors?
Both will be held outside. There will be a plan in case of rain. Wear clothing for Mexico temperatures for late summer!
Can I bring a plus one?
Yes, everyone invited (without a spouse/significant other) can bring a plus-one. Everyone with a spouse/significant other will have their invitation addressed to both parties.
Will there be an open bar at the wedding?
Yes, a premium open bar is available for cocktail hour, dinner, and reception.
Should we tip the staff?
It really depends on who you ask. Seasoned travelers would say you should bring some money to tip the resort staff but others would say it's not necessary as the resort is already all-inclusive. Please do what you are comfortable with!
We can't come to the wedding anymore... Are the rooms refundable?
Yes! Rooms are refundable in full, up to 24 hours prior to arrival. They charge credit cards in-full 30 days prior to arrival so you would get a refund.
Can I edit my room and what’s the deadline?
Yes you can edit your room type, # of nights, & guests up until August 1st. No changes after August 1st can be made (except cancellation)!!!
