Amanda and Ben first met in college at Campbell University in 2016. After being friends for a year, Amanda mustered up the courage to confess her feelings to Ben in 2017, and, well…let’s just say he admitted the same during an impromptu Cracker Barrel breakfast.

In the last 6 years, the inseparable pair have traveled to 6 different US states together (and even moved to one of those together), adopted 2 (fur) babies of their own, and both earned graduate degrees in Chemistry. Their favorite hobbies together are traveling, cooking, and trivia.

Ben’s proposal to Amanda was equal bits corny and charming. During their 6-year anniversary, over a charcuterie and wine picnic, Ben got on one knee to ask Amanda to be his forever partner before almost passing out from nervousness. Thankfully, no one fainted and many subsequent laughs, kisses, and (cute) pictures were had!
