Aunque el centro de la ciudad de Austin es una zona caminable, la mayoría de las demás áreas de la ciudad no lo son. Si planeas explorar distintos vecindarios o probar la gastronomía local en varias zonas, te recomendamos rentar un carro.
Si no te sientes cómodo manejando o prefieres no rentar un vehículo, siempre puedes usar aplicaciones de transporte como Uber y Lyft. Estas plataformas funcionan muy bien en la ciudad y son especialmente útiles para los eventos de la boda.
Ten en cuenta que, como la recepción de la boda se llevará a cabo fuera del área principal de la ciudad, puede ser difícil conseguir un Uber o Lyft para regresar a Austin. Estamos buscando alternativas adicionales de transporte para los invitados que regresen a la ciudad. Recomendamos que si no piensas manejar a la boda, que descargues la aplicacion Fetti, la cual funciona como Uber/Lyft pero para mayor cantidad de personas.
Recommendations:
While downtown Austin is walkable, most other parts of the city are not easily accessible on foot. If you’re planning to explore different neighborhoods or try a variety of local restaurants, we highly recommend renting a car.
If you’re not comfortable driving or prefer not to rent a vehicle, ride-sharing apps like Uber and Lyft are a great alternative and work well throughout the city—especially useful for getting to and from wedding events.
Please note: since the wedding reception will be held outside the main city area, it may be difficult to find available Ubers or Lyfts for the return trip to Austin. We are currently exploring additional transportation options for guests returning to the city. If you are not planning on driving to the wedding, we recommend you to download the app Fetti which is a rideshare option like Uber/Lyft but with more people in a mini van.
