In the words of the bride...

Kayla
Kayla - Matron of Honor
"Kayla and I came together as the perfect mix of fun, silly and totally weird back in seventh grade and I'm so glad we did. She and her family accepted me into their home almost every weekend for several years straight, and really made me feel like I belonged. Of all Kayla's wonderful qualities, my favorite is her ability to rise to every challenge she takes on with patience, persistence and compassion. She is strong, understanding and wise beyond her years. Although we've had times when we've drifted apart because life gets busy, coming back together is always easy and refreshing. Kayla grounds me and she is my forever friend. I'm thankful to have her as my Matron of Honor."
Brittany
Brittany - Maid of Honor
"Although it's been 15+ years, I still remember is this shy, quiet girl totally surprising me with her fun-loving, larger-than-life personality. We spent our teen years taking silly photos, ranting about the demands of our schoolwork & eating embarrassing amounts of pizza (my fault). When I moved away after college, Brittany remained on the Florida coast after receiving her degree in Marine Biology but never hesitated to drive a couple hours just to meet up for lunch or coffee whenever I found myself back home. Bubbles, thanks for showing me what relentless friendship looks like all these years. I'm so fortunate to have you in my life."
Heather
Heather - Bridesmaid
"How lucky am I that meeting the love of my life also afforded me a friend like her? Heather's sense of humor is by far the best of all her amazing traits. When she's not caring for patients at Lakeland Regional, she's spending time with her geriatric cockatiel BFFL, Tweety. She is funny, kind and totally capable of being the life of the party (that is, when you can get her to stay up past 8pm). Thank you Heather for being the loving, hilarious, captivating person you are."
Cynthia
Cynthia - Bridesmaid
"Cynthia and I met at Texas Instruments in 2015 at the start of our careers as electrical engineers. Over the past six years she has taught me so much about having confidence in myself and about living & loving unapologetically. She is honest, hardworking, intelligent, vivacious and those are just a few of the many things that I love and admire about her. Thanks Cynthia for being you and letting me play a part in your crazy story, you're one of a kind."
Abbi
Abbi - Bridesmaid
According to a recent study, strong friendships are forged through shared long-term experiences and vulnerability...all lending itself to the reason it's so challenging to forge such relationships as an adult. While the past couple years have not been easy with furloughs, layoffs, and a pandemic...the one thing I'm eternally thankful for through it all is your friendship and how this unique moment in time has given it the space to grow. Looking forward to many more years of laughs and jokes!
Nancy
Nancy - Bridesmaid
"Ours is another sustaining friendship that has withstood time and space. If I had to pick one word to describe Nancy, I think it would be grace. She is sweet, generous, thoughtful and has always had an air of elegance and poise about her. She's definitely the level-headed one and has acted as my moral compass more times than I can count. The two of us have been there for each other through a variety of life-changing moments including birthdays, graduations and soon both our weddings. Having her by my side means the world to me."
Taylor
Taylor - Flower Girl
"What can I say? My Matron of Honor and her husband make cute babies."

In the words of the groom...

Chris
Chris - Best Man
"I’m not sure why but Chris is the hardest person for me to describe, he is ineffable in a sense, but that’s just semantics. I’ve seen Chris navigate through the woods in the dark, in ankle deep water, successfully, to a campsite with no visible markings, and without a map (I may have dropped the map). I’ve also seen Chris surprised, in the dark, in his own home, and lift his hands above his head and scream...not exactly in a manly fashion, still not sure what the hands were about. We met in college and became fast friends, both of us eventually moved out west, where we got together as often as possible and still get together as often as possible, even though it’s usually virtually now. He and his lovely wife Chelsea currently live in North Carolina and are working on starting a family. Also Chris don’t worry, I won’t hold it against you that I wasn’t your best man...it’s totally fine."
Mike
Mike - Groomsman
"Throughout most of college Mike and I were pretty much always together. I’m sure he got annoyed with me at times but he never let it show, even when I would show up at his house unannounced, and you know just walk in. But the reason I did this is because there was always something fun going on around Mike, he has a natural energy that just creates a good time wherever he is at. After college we’ve made a point to keep in touch but life and distance intervene. While we don’t see each other near as much anymore, I’m always grateful to count him among my friends and I look forward to the times when I can see him no matter how brief. Mike currently lives with in Tampa with his beautiful wife (also an Amanda)."
Jason
Jason - Groomsman
"Jason is the closest thing I’ve ever had to a brother, we were roommates with Matt through three houses in Orlando, and when I say brother I mean it because I can’t describe our friendship any other way. If I haven’t talked to him in six months I feel perfectly confident picking up the phone and calling him only to yell at him about nonsense, then we’ll talk a week later for an hour about nothing but wind turbines, or inflation, or some other off the wall topic that neither of us know enough about to rightfully speak about at all. Jason is not just a good friend to me though, I suspect he has been a groomsman in more weddings than many people have ever attended. He is interested in everything and as such he always wants to hear about what is going on in your life and understand it, if you talk to him I’m sure you’ll see what I mean."
Robert
Robert - Groomsman
"I met Robert through Amanda when they were both working at Disney together, and even though he chose to live as far away as possible we’ve become good friends. We mostly just talk about stuff that doesn’t matter, argue about stuff that doesn’t matter, and commiserate about stuff that’s not really that big of a deal, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. He’s also the third one of my groomsmen to pull my shoulder back into socket, which couldn’t have been easy while we’re both in ski boots and I’m screaming profanities at him (thanks Robert). In all seriousness, Robert and his girlfriend Abbi have always been there for both Amanda and me. We couldn’t ask for better friends and might have gone crazy without you guys."
Danilo
Danilo - Groomsman
Dan moved to LA from Florida shortly before I did, which among other things gave us a lot of common background, very quickly he became my first real friend in LA. Dan sees life for what it could be at all times, he's always looking forward and always thinking about how things can and will change. This makes him a fantastic guy to grab a beer with any night of the week and I always look forward to our meet ups. They usually end up with us incoherently talking about the meta implications of a technology nobody has ever heard, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Alejandro (Demian)
Alejandro (Demian) - Groomsman
Demian and I became fast friends in college after bonding over our common interests in all things technical. He has this passion about things that is magnetic, it brings an excitement to seemingly mundane things that I've always really admired. He's seen me at my best and my worst and I couldn't be more excited for him to be apart of this day.
Matt
Matt - Groomsman
"Matt is the most original person I’ve ever met, he’s always full of intriguing questions and sideways insight to any problem. Matt, and I were roommates for quite a few years in Orlando, so we’ve seen the best and worst of each other, heck we even got into a fight once and for the life of me I have no idea why. We haven’t hung out as much in recent years but he’s influenced me in a lot of ways and I always enjoy the time I do get to spend with him. He currently lives in Colorado and is loving it. "
Roth
Roth - Ring Bearer
"When asked if he would be willing to act as the ring bearer for our wedding, his response was 'Yes, but I'm a little nervous and will have to practice first'...so that gives you an idea of how adorable and sweet this little dude is. We're stoked to have you be apart of our day Roth!"
