From NYC, Rockland & Long Island

Driving time: 2 hours from Tappan Zee (now the Mario M. Cuomo) Bridge

NY Thruway (I-87) north to Exit 16 (Harriman).

Follow New York Route 17 West to Exit 104 (Raceway Road in Monticello). This leads right into Route 17B, which you will follow toward Fosterdale (approximately 15 miles).

At Fosterdale, continue straight through traffic light. It becomes Sullivan County State Road 114.

Follow 114 down Winding Hill (approximately 4 miles) to the STOP sign (Route 97).

Make left turn on Route 97 and travel NO MORE THAN 100 yards, at which point you will see a sign for PA 371/114 and Damascus on the right.

Veer to the right at those signs and drive down the hill under the railway trestle.

Cross the Delaware River and you will be on PA Route 371.

Follow 371 for 5 miles and Tyler Hill Camp will be on your right.



From Northern & Western Jersey

Driving Time: 2 1/2 Hours

Route 80 West to Exit 34B (Sparta) to Route 15 North.

Continue on Route 15 North to Ross’ Corner where 206 meets Route 15.

Go straight ahead on 206 North to the Delaware Bridge on Montague.

Cross over the bridge and follow Route 6 West through Milford.

Take 84 West to Exit 30, Blooming Grove, PA.

Make a right off the ramp onto Route 402 North.

Go 5 miles to the end, “T” intersection.

Turn left onto Route 6 West.

Stay on Route 6 for 18 miles through Hawley and into Honesdale. Route 6 is Church Street in Honesdale. Stay on it until it ends.

Turn left following signs to Route 6 and 191 North.

Within a half mile the road forks, take the right fork onto Route 191. Head North for 10 miles.

Turn right at stop sign (Route 371).

Follow 371 for 7 miles and Tyler Hill Camp will be on your left.



From Westchester & Connecticut

Driving Time: 2 Hours

Best route to I-84 West (if coming from Westchester & Connecticut, cross Newburgh Bridge).

Continue on I-84 to Middletown, NY (Exit 4W – Route 17 West).

Follow New York Route 17 West to Exit 104 (Raceway Road in Monticello). This leads right into Route 17B, which you will follow toward Fosterdale (approximately 15 miles).

From Philadelphia

Driving Time: 3 Hours

Northeast Extension of PA Turnpike to Route 81 North.

Just past Scranton, pick up Route 6 East on the right (Scranton-Carbondale Highway).

Follow Route 6 into Honesdale.

Turn left at the traffic light in Honesdale (just past Wayne Memorial Hospital).

Follow signs to Route 191 North for 10 miles.

Turn right at stop sign (Route 371).

Follow 371 for 7 miles and Tyler Hill Camp will be on your left.
