See the aquarium that inspired “Finding Dory” (and where Amanda’s high school class spent part of their senior retreat!)
Great for doing some tourist-y shopping, including stocking up on salt water taffy.
Head over to Ocean Avenue in Carmel by the Sea for lots of cute shops and cafes.

About 45 minutes south of Monterey is one of the best state parks in California. Great for anyone looking to hike!
