Airports
There are two airports that are likely going to provide the best options for flights, San Francisco (SFO) and San Jose (SJC). We recommend flying into SJC if possible as it will save you at least a half hour of driving. SJC to Monterey is a 1.5 hour drive; SFO to Monterey is about a 2 hour drive.
There is a local Monterey airport, but we don’t expect many options there for anyone travelling from outside of California.
Places to Stay
There are a lot of great places to stay in Monterey, including AirBnBs. If you’re interested in booking an Airbnb, we’d recommend looking at places in Monterey, Carmel, or Carmel Valley.
We do not have a hotel block anywhere. Instead we recommend the following hotels:
Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa
This is where Dylan and Amanda will be staying. We’d recommend calling the hotel to set up a reservation if you’d like to stay here. It’s about a 25 minute walk to the wedding venue.
Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay
This is about a 7 minute walk from the venue and has one of the best places for cookies in Monterey (according to Kathy Stephens). Please give them a call if you’d like to reserve a room here.

This about a 7 minute walk to the wedding venue!
