Lance and Amanda’s paths first crossed in the fall of 2017 at Northwest Missouri State University, where they ended up having the same history class. They didnt know each other but later realized this would be their first encounter. Flash forward to November 23rd, 2020. Lance and Amanda reconnected, and they went on their first date with three of their favorite things: chicken wings, football, and of course Andy’s Frozen Custard!! Ever since then, they have been inseparable! The couple officially started dating on January 1st, 2021, and since then they have shared many memories and milestones. In the summer of 2023, Amanda, Lance, and of course, Berk moved in together, and officially became homeowners this September! On August 17th, 2024, Lance planned a dinner with their parents at The Pear Tree, where the couple has shared many special memories. Little did Amanda know that she was getting engaged! Some of Amanda’s best friends surprised her, and when she got up to hug them, Lance got down on one knee and asked her to marry him… And of course, she said yes!! 💍 Patience, good timing, and life experiences brought Amanda and Lance together. Some of their favorite things to do as a couple are eating BBQ, spending time with the berky pup, and watching sports! Especially football, even if we do not like the same team. 😉 Amanda and Lance have experienced a lot during their last 4 years together. Being dog parents to Berk. 4 college degrees. New adventures around the world and a new home. They are excited for their special day and cannot wait to continue to build their lives together!

QUICK UP DATES

No Smoking/Vaping Indoors: There is no smoking or vaping of any substance inside the venue. The only designated smoking area is outside on the north end of the venue. Alcohol: There will be an open bar, so Outside alcohol is prohibited at this event. Uplugged ceremony: Amanda and Lance are choosing to have an unplugged ceremony. What does this mean? We are asking all guests to put their phones and cameras away on silent during the ceremony. Amanda and Lance are paying a professional photographer to capture this beautiful day and do not want guests' phones and cameras in the way of these moments and memories. Weather: We will be keeping a close eye on the weather currently for the venue area the National weather service is only predicting less than 1 to 2 inches of snow. If anything’s changes we will let you know immediately.Please dress accordingly for the weather .

During the reception, we&#8217;re adding a fun twist to the evening with a game called &#8220;Guessing with the Starkeys!"

You&#8217;ll get to make predictions about the night or answer trivia questions about us. Once you fill out your card, just drop it into the card box in front of the prize you want to try to win!
