We met in the summer of 2018 during a three-hour car ride to Deep Creek, Maryland, where we were headed to spend time with mutual friends and family. I (Amanda) was a bit skeptical about picking up this random guy from my friend’s house and driving alone for three hours. But Cain, on the other hand, thought nothing of it.

Surprisingly, the ride flew by. We laughed, discovered that we both loved country music, and swapped stories about our families, friends, and what it was like growing up in small-town Brentwood, PA, and the tourist-packed Fort Lauderdale, FL.

What started as a friendship quickly grew into something more. As we spent time together, we realized that the best memories we were making were with each other. Our relationship has brought us lifelong friends—some of whom you’ll see standing by our side on our wedding day—and a new perspective on life. Most importantly, it has given us unwavering support and a deep, unshakable bond.

This wedding is a dream come true for both of us, and we can’t wait to celebrate with each and every one of you!
