Directions: Wright Brothers National Memorial is located along US 158 in the town of Kill Devil Hills on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Located in Dare County in the Outer Banks, Jockey's Ridge State Park is home to the tallest living sand dune system on the Atlantic coast and provides an ideal location for flying kites and watching sunsets.

There is no entry fee for Cape Hatteras National Seashore.
The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is will likely not open for climbing until the summer of 2026, due to restoration efforts.
Tickets
Climbing tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens (62 or older), children 11 years of age and under, and the disabled.
Climb tickets are available on a first come, first served basis and can only be purchased from www.recreation.gov.
Tickets go on sale at 7am for that day's climbs only.
Tickets may only be purchased on the same day of your intended climb.
You MUST be at the lighthouse at least 5 minutes prior to your ticket time. Refunds are not given for no shows or late arrivals.
Pea Island offers visitors the opportunity to experience spectacular flocks of ducks, swans, and other waterfowl, and explore dynamic beaches and dunes. Visitors can stop by the Visitor Center, hike one of the refuge trails, dip a fishing line in the surf or the sound, or relax by the beach.
Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge offers three trails that are open year-round during daylight hours. The two wildlife trails have several elevated platforms for wildlife viewing. All trails are relatively flat; the North Pond Wildlife Trail is wheelchair-accessible.
