The love story of Camden and Amber started on a bright and sunny April day despite the worldwide pandemic. Camden was actually late for the first date. While Amber was patiently waiting for him to arrive, she was texting her cousins about the possibility of being stood up. Camden, who was new to the city of Chicago, encountered some of the infamous Chicago CTA delays on the weekends. After 30 minutes, Camden finally arrived at the coffee shop! When Camden first saw Amber, he was struck by her beauty and sweet voice. When Amber first saw Camden, she thought Oh, thank God, he is tall and cute! They proceeded to walk around the West Loop neighborhood for over 5 hours.


Together, they strolled around discovering their shared interests and feeling comfortable around each other. Camden was smitten and asked Amber to dinner, but unfortnately, she had to decline due to work commitments (it was accounting busy season, after all). Camden was sad and thought he had missed his chance. So they said goodbye after that first date, and when Amber walked home, she couldn’t get Camden off her mind. She wished that she just said Yes to dinner and ditched work! A couple of days after the first date, Amber broke all the dating rules and asked Camden if he wanted to meet her for a drink. Camden was thrilled and surprised that she had asked HIM on a second date! There were many, many more dates after that. Some of their first dates were the Shedd Aquarium, walks around Rogers Park, Indiana Dunes, Jazz clubs, and countless restaurants in Chicago! After just a few dates, they both knew they had found something special and fell deeply in love. The rest was history!!!
