Where is the ceremony and reception located in the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel?

The ceremony space is located on the 8th floor in the Madison Ballroom. The reception space is located on the 8th floor in the White City Ballroom.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

There is valet parking available at the hotel for $35 for up to 8 hours or $79 per night. Please note the valet parking is located at 71 E. Madison Street. We also recommend downloading the Spot Hero app to park at a near by garage. The Grant Park North Garage is only 0.3 miles from the hotel and charges around $20-$25 for parking. https://millenniumgarages.com/extendedstayparking/

What is the dress code for your wedding?

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. We suggest that you wear a suit or dress shirt with tie or wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. However, no matter what you wear we are forever grateful that you are here and we want you to be comfortable. But please, NO JEANS!!!

Have you reserved a room block?

Yes, we have a room block available at the Chicago Athletic Association. You can make a reservation by calling 844-312-2221 and reference the Hackney-Ogletree Wedding Room Block in order to receive the group rate. To make a reservation online, please visit https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/CHIUB/G-HOW1. Please note this link is for BOTH Friday and Saturday. If you wish for a shorter length then please adjust your dates accordingly.

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

We invite you to RSVP online under the RSVP tab or by mailing in the RSVP card sent with the invitation.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

We suggest using public transportation, ride sharing or walking if you plan to stay in one of the suggested hotels located on the Travel tab.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

If your wedding invitation includes a "plus one," then please feel free to bring a guest. However, if your invitation does not include a "plus one," we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing a guest. Don't worry, there will be plenty of people at the wedding to kick it with!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

If your wedding invitation includes “Your Name & family” then please feel free to bring your children. However, if your invitation does not include “Your Name & family”, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing your children. Trust us, you are better off leaving them at home plus you deserve a night off!

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes of course! Please note your dietary restrictions or allergies on the RSVP.

How do I make my meal selection?

Your meal selection will be made at table side during the reception. Please note your dietary restrictions or allergies on the RSVP.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Right after the ceremony, we'll be treating you to some delicious hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. Then, it's time for a sit-down dinner where you can choose your tableside entree selection. Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies in your RSVP.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
