For those of you looking to explore some of the beautiful desert scenery, we recommend Saguaro National Park West, which is just north of the desert museum. Take some time to enjoy the mountain views with some wonderful hikes.

Go have dinner and a musical parody show at the wonderful Gaslight Theater! You'll have to book tickets in advance (and trust me, they sell out quickly). It's always a great experience and one of our favorite date night locations.

If you're willing to go for a slightly longer drive, you can visit some local cave systems including Kartchner Caverns and Colossal Caves. Both offer guided tours at varying levels of depths and difficulty. Reservations for both are strongly encouraged.
