Where is the ceremony and reception located?
The ceremony and reception will both be held at the Rustic Rose Barn venue. 3275 400th St. Roland, IA 50236.
Is there parking available at the venue?
The Rustic Rose Barn has vallet parking for all guests. There is also a shuttle that will pick up guests from the Comfort Inn hotel in Story City.
Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting we plan on having our ceremony outdoors. If there is inclement weather, our ceremony will be moved inside.
What is the dress code?
Business casual, dressy casual, casual, semi-formal, whatever you want to call it. We want our guests to look and feel great in what they choose to wear!
Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotel?
Yes, our venue offers a shuttle to and from the Comfort Inn in Story City (3 miles from the Rustic Rose).
Have you reserved blocks of rooms nearby?
Yes, rooms have been reserved at the Comfort Inn in Story City, 3 miles down the road from the venue. Be sure to mention our names when resreving your room!
Can I bring my own alcohol to the reception?
No, it is not allowed. The Rustic Rose Barn has its own liquor license and will accommodate guests.
Does your venue accept debit/ credit card for drinks?
Unfortunatley, our venue does not accept debit/ credit cards. We will have complimentary wine & beer, as well as other non-alcoholic beverages. Please bring cash for any alternative choice beverage.
