Travis and Amber met at their first job at Gringos in La Porte Texas at the age of 17. While they knew each other's names they really didn't know one another. That was until Amber told Travis something that was a hook-line-sinker. Amber stated “When you meet someone for the first time your first response would be hello or hi. Nope, not mine. We were standing next to the ice cream machine, and I looked at him and said you know what would taste better than that ice cream? My lips. since then he never left.” Not only was Amber the first to speak a word but she was also the first to say THE three words! You guessed it, she let I love you slip out and tried playing it off but Travis heard her.

It was a year before Amber said yes to being Travis's girlfriend in the middle of a rush hour on February 17, 2018. They attended each other's proms and they both stated, I" think that's when we both realized we were in love with one another." They took their first vacation to the Frio with family, graduated from high school, and took many more adventures.

For their two-year anniversary, Travis took Amber to Monument Inn and then to the pier right next to it. There, Amber stated, "I looked at Travis and said, I think it would be so cute if you proposed here one day." Again, Travis took note of it.

However, after two years of dating, Travis and Amber decided to go their separate ways. Yet, they never lost touch, they were always checking in with one another.

After a year of separation, Travis and Amber found their way back to one another. On January 25, 2021, Travis and Amber made it official again. Yet, two days later Travis left for Boot Camp with the United States Army. For three months they did long distance and communicated through letter writing for three months until Travis returned due to medical discharge. Travis and Amber spent another year together.

On August 14, 2022, Travis proposed to Amber at the spot they spent their second-year anniversary at. It was the easiest YES of her life. All of Amber and Travis's family were there to witness the memorable moment.

On February 17, 2024, the bride and groom will be saying their I do’s surrounded by family and friends.
