on a work trip for Sean when he finally decided to have enough courage to right swipe. After several right swipes previously, Amber just so happened to right swipe as well. Some Tinder messages later, exchanging of phone numbers and texts, the two finally met in person a few weeks later.

The couple met up at a local bar, a few whiskey on the rocks & lunch dates under their belts, they made it official. Sean and Amber have spent time together swimming with pigs in the Bahamas, walking the cemeteries of New Orleans, and overlooking the city in San Francisco. The two have met some of their favorite musicians and bands together, hardstyled more than once, and honestly fell in love over street tacos.

After a few years of summers at Warped Tour, a couple of vacations, and falling in love over nights filled with horror movie marathons & days filled with shrimp tacos & dim sum; Amber moved in 2021.

Through lows & highs, graduations, job changes, promotions, and some pretty rough times; the two of them somehow seemed to always be there for one another, despite what challenges they faced individually.

In October of 2021, Sean mustered up enough courage to finally ask the question. It was Halloween, in Salem, Massachusetts. Sean and Amber were walking around the Witch City, when Amber just so happened to stumble across a broom making class that almost cosmically, had one spot open. She jumped for joy, as Sean told her “go for it.” As Amber was happily making her own broom, Sean knew in this moment, he had to come up with a plan.

Sean searched high & low through the streets of Salem for the ring he would use to ask this question. Much to his surprise and ironically found an infinity ring he would use, (the irony is that Amber did in fact, have an infinity symbol tattooed on her ring finger at one point) due to the one he had purchased not arriving on time.

That evening; after a trip to Bunghole Liquors and a few Italian sausage sandwiches later, it was time. As someone dressed as Michael Myers, chasing children were in the background and Fireball spiked apple cider in hand, Sean got down on one knee and asked Amber to be with him forever.

Amber agreed to hardstyling with Sean forever.
