Q + A

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

We request that everyone dress in semi-formal attire. Ladies may wear cocktail attire, and the gentlemen may wear attire such as a suit and tie, a sports coat and slacks, or a button down and slacks. Please avoid denim and shades of white. Also keep in mind our ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting), and the reception will be held indoors and outdoors.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Of course we can't guarantee anything, however the weather conditions are projected to be in the mid 70's with the low being in the mid 40's range. Keep an eye on the weather in the weeks leading up to the wedding!

What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive half an hour prior to the ceremony start time so you have time to get seated so the events can start as scheduled.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at the Raymond Venue.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be held outdoors and the reception will be held indoors and partially outdoor.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

The Raymond Venue has its own parking lot, and there will be attendants with a golf cart to help those that may need additional assistance getting to the ceremony. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving, and Uber is a great option for those who don't. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink. Handicapped parking is also available.

How do I get to the venue?

If you're using GPS to find The Raymond Venue, just navigate to "Raymond, MS" and it will bring you straight to the front door. If you are coming via I-20 go past the Raymond/HWY 18 exit to the Clinton-Raymond Road exit. Turn left onto Clinton-Raymond Rd and follow it all the way into Raymond. This is just as fast or faster than traveling HWY 18 and will bring you straight to us. The Natchez Trace is also an option if you are coming from Madison.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited venue space, we request that you only bring the people listed on your invitation. If you received a plus one, your invitation will include "and Guest." When you RSVP, please ensure you RSPVP for yourself as well as your guest(s).

Can I bring my children?

While we love all the little ones in our life, we respectfully request that you only bring family members specifically listed on your invitation. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

Are you registered anywhere?

We are so lucky to have everything we need to start our new life together. The most important gift to us is having you share in our special day. Most things we need, we've already got, and in our house, we can't fit a lot! But if you wish to contribute in some other way, we would love a few pennies to put in our pot, for our honeymoon trip after tying the knot! However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, we've created an online registry on this very website for you to easily access.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day. With that being said, please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary restrictions.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We want you to be able to relax and have fun with us on our wedding day! We hired a fantastic photographer who will be capturing every moment, and we're inviting each of you to sit back and relax. With this in mind, please silence or turn off your cell phones. We're happy to share our professional wedding photos later. The greatest gift you can give us today is just being fully present with us during this occasion!

What should I do if I cannot attend?

You will be missed! If you cannot attend, please RSVP accordingly as soon as possible.

Will we have an open bar?

Yes, there will be an open bar, but we do encourage tipping the bartenders.

When should I RSVP by?

Kindly RSVP by October 1, 2022 either via mail or on our wedding website.

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony the bride and groom will have a private meal together. The wedding party and guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving dinner and beverages. The bride and groom will join their guests shortly afterwards. And of course, lots of dancing to follow!

How do I RSVP?

We sure hope you'll be able to join us for our special day. With your invitation, there is an RSVP card that you can fill out and return, or feel free to click the RSVP link at the top of our website.

What COVID health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Getting married in the midst of a global pandemic means that everyone's health and safety is a top priority for us. We will be staying on top of the ongoing CDC's health and recommendation guidelines, and will provide any potential updates accordingly.

What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

TBD
