Our wedding will be held on the beautiful grounds of Chautauqua Institution. The ceremony will take place at the Hall of Philosophy, followed by a reception just down the road at the historic Athenaeum Hotel. Join us for cocktail hour on the hotel’s front porch before dinner and dancing!

The ceremony begins at 4:00 p.m. at the Hall of Philosophy. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes early to find your seat and take in the beautiful setting!

Semi-formal attire is requested—think dresses and suits or dress shirts appropriate for an elegant lakeside celebration.

Yes! The ceremony is outdoors under the open-air roof of the Hall of Philosophy, and cocktail hour will be on the Athenaeum Hotel’s front porch overlooking the lake. Dinner and dancing will move indoors afterward.

Chautauqua Institution is a pedestrian community, so parking is available just outside the gates. We’ll share detailed parking info closer to the date.
