Maggie Seraphin - Maid of Honor
Maggie is Amy's only sister and the other bookend amidst the boys. She keeps Amy up to date with all the latest fashion trends, even sharing when Amy is "dressing old". Not fast friends, the lag could be attributed to multiple things, including: Maggie saying, "white hair is the prettiest" (and truly meaning it) and Amy going off to college and leaving Maggie with "the boys". Maggie found out Kyle was "most scared to meet her" and as the youngest of five, she had never felt more powerful. Although she likes, Kyle, Maggie is losing her vacation roommate, a role held for 19 years.
Abby Koeller - Bridesmaid
Abby is Amy's friend from Lurie, who also lives in her building. The jury is still out on when Amy and Abby became friends, but it somehow started over deep discussions in the wee hours of the morning at work. These chats led to coffee dates and then Amy brought her to Bach Night and the rest is history. Abby is sad Amy will be leaving the NYPR, as she will lose her free Christmas tree carryer, Kyle. Living in the building, Abby was the only participant, and judge, of "Power Point Night" aka the night where Amy and Kyle made powerpoints to propose honeymoon locations.
Ashley Miller - Bridesmaid
Fondly referred to as "Ash" by Amy. In fact, Kyle thought that was her real name for a good bit there. A friendship that was product of night shift and Ash wearing a Blackhawks quarter-zip to work, Amy and Ash are the true CCU dynamic couple (sorry Eric). Ash is Amy's running inspiration and fellow lover of all things bougie. She is trying to beat Kyle to get into the infamous "Seraphin Family Groupchat".
Molly LaBruna - Bridesmaid
Molly, also a nurse, is Amy's friend from college and longest standing roommate to date (Kyle has big shoes to fill). Becoming friends freshman year over Microbiology study sessions, they commiserated their way through nursing school and were inseparable. They both admit they could've studied less and had a little more fun, but almost yearly trips to New York or Chicago are making up for it now. Ask either of them about "The Cave", where they slept the last two years in college.
Nathan Canavan - Best Man
Nathan is Kyle’s best man and best friend since high school. Through the many years, Nathan and Kyle have always had a deep friendship rooted in common goals like being the best spikeball duo or building the strongest bridge for a physics project. Nathan recently reached black belt in Jiu Jitsu and has asked if he could wear it to the wedding. Kyle is trying to convince Amy to allow it but has been unsuccessful so far.
Chris Cockrell - Groomsman
The taller, more handsome son with more hair than Kyle could ever imagine, Chris has always known he’d be the more successful one. Working on getting his masters in Psychology, Chris is much more open-minded and studious than Kyle, always winning the philosophical arguments. It’s known Chris likes his sleep, and although he’s not worried, there’s no guarantee he’ll be up in time for the wedding, but you know he’ll be continuing the party well past last call.
Danny Seraphin - Groomsman
Amy's youngest brother and the strongest member of the family and bridal party. He was Amy's first sibling to meet Kyle and with their shared loved of lifting and protein, the bar was set high. Amy and Kyle are hoping that Danny hits a PR the week of the wedding, so the "PR stache" isn't around. He recently told Kyle he would be a groomsman, so long as Kyle "got more swole". Danny might sadly have to bow out of his title.
David Gregory - Groomsman
Kyle’s roommate for 7 years (3 in college and 4 in Chicago), David is always willing to share a drink and have a great chat from the hours of 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM. Less known for his musical knowledge (he played the trombone in college) and better known for being the “roommate who travels,” even when David is gone for weeks at a time he always comes back to Kyle who greets him like a lost puppy. Unfortunately, once Kyle found Amy, David is no longer the “best match through a matchmaking service”, but he is a solid second.
