ANA'S RECOMMENDATION: This is my favorite restaurant in the city and if you are a seafood lover, this is an absolute must! This restaurant is also within walking distance from your hotel if you decided to stay at one of our recommended places. I highly recommend it for lunch, dinner, and happy hour as well. Beautiful waterfront view, delicious food, and refreshing cocktails.

They offer an extensive menu that ranges from seafood, pasta, meat, and signature Brazilian pastries. To make things even better, their cocktails and dessert menus are incredible as well.

MARK'S RECOMMENDATION: Innovative meals and craft cocktails are offered in an upbeat environment filled with colorful art. You will need to Uber to this spot if you are staying in one of the hotels recommended by us, but definitely worth the visit. Their dinner menu is incredible and they have live music almost every day.

MARK & ANA'S RECOMMENDATION: If you are looking for the perfect lounge space that is also waterfront then Colosso Lake is the perfect spot for you. They are open for lunch and dinner serving Greek-inspired food at their restaurant called ZOI, and if you are in the search for a fun party, make sure to stay there until nighttime as they have delicious cocktails and live entertainment during the weekends.

ANA'S RECOMMENDATION: This is one of the newest hotspots in the city and is definitely worth a visit. Need a caipirinha fix? This is your spot! They offer live music, typical Brazilian finger food, and delicious drinks. If you are interested in going here on the weekend, make sure to have a reservation as it gets really packed.

MARK'S RECOMMENDATION: If you thought Brazil didn't have amazing speakeasies with rock music... you thought wrong! This pub spot is all about good music. You can either stay in the outdoor space for more R&B live music, or you can go to the indoor space (AKA speakeasy!) if you are into more rock and alternative music. I highly recommend checking their Instagram which contains their live music schedule for the week.

The Beach Park complex is located by Porto das Dunas Beach and offers a seaside infrastructure, with its water park, resorts, and a beach service area. This is the most famous tourist attraction in the city and definitely worth checking it out if you have time to do so. This spot is located about 30 minutes from the city and you can easily take an Uber to get to it.

If you wish to go inside the waterpark, tickets are about $55 per person and can either be purchased online or in person at the box office. However, you can always just enjoy the beach club area for some delicious food and the BEST crab in the city.

This is one of the most hip beach clubs in the city that offer great live music, food, and cocktails. If you are looking to party by the beach, make sure to check out their event schedule as they are known for their luaus and DJ sets during the weekends.
