Ana and Keenan first met in the spring of 2019, working in the Brownsburg Little League concession stand. Ana was in 8th grade, and Keenan was a freshman in high school. Though they barely spoke, their paths crossed again in November at a church event and later at Qdoba, where shortly after, Keenan added Ana on Snapchat.

From the fall of 2019 through winter break, they chatted on Snapchat. In January 2020, they found themselves in the same weightlifting class and lunch period. After two months, Keenan asked Ana to walk to class with him. We know, big deal, right?! From that moment, their connection deepened.

Their first date was March 7th, 2020, at the Shops at Perry Crossing and Smoothie King. Despite the initial (extreme) awkwardness, something special was undeniable. On March 19th, 2020, Keenan asked Ana to be his girlfriend. Due to COVID-19, they didn’t see each other for almost two months!

Time passed, and they enjoyed so many special memories together, from school dances to family trips to serving together at Camp Allendale. They eventually celebrated their one-year anniversary, then two, and then three! They stood by each other’s side as they graduated from high school (Keenan 2022, Ana 2023), and both are now at Grace College.

By Christmas break of 2023, right before their four-year anniversary, Keenan decided it was time for the next step. With his parents’ blessing, he met with Ana’s father to ask for his permission to propose. Both families were thrilled.

Keenan found the perfect ring with the help of a family friend who is a jeweler in Aruba. He then meticulously planned the proposal and engagement party. Unaware of the plan, Ana suggested they dress up for a date, and Keenan suggested it be at Livery in downtown Indianapolis. Keenan “made a reservation” when he had actually had it for weeks prior! After dinner, on June 24th 2024, they visited their favorite spot on West Chase Golf Course to watch the sunset. There, Keenan proposed, and Ana joyfully accepted!

They shared a tearful embrace, captured the moment with some quick photos, and headed back to Ana’s house, where their closest friends and family awaited. Keenan orchestrated a surprise engagement party, ensuring the perfect night to celebrate. The evening was filled with love and celebration, marking the beginning of their forever together.

Keenan and Ana are now joyfully planning their wedding and cannot wait for June 21, 2025!
