Travel Tips

Flights

Average flight times from Houston to Barcelona are about 12 hours. In order to make it to the wedding on time, please buy flights for October 15th at the latest. We recommend that you buy your flights at least 6 months in advance, as prices tend to increase closer to your destination dates.

We recommend that you arrive in Spain earlier for the wedding in order to allow yourself adjustment time against jetlag. Sitges is a beautiful city near our venue that would be a great place to stay if you arrive before check in.

Passport/Documents

To travel internationally you will need your passport or visa. To ensure that you are allowed to fly, please make sure your passport does not expire less than six months after our wedding dates (10/16- 10/19) as some airlines do not let you fly if your passport expires within 6 months of your trip.

It is also a good idea to make sure you take pictures of any travel documents just in case.

Hotel Recommendations

Contingent on our RSVP, as we are able to accomodate sleeping arrangements for 50 guests. If those 50 slots are filled, recommended hotels will be posted below.

Transportation

For transportation to the venue, we recommend getting a rental car. If you are flying in with other guests, a rental carpool would be a fun way to get to the venue together. Since we have the villa for the entire weekend, we will not be providing transportation. However, if you would like to leave the villa to explore downtown or other cities, you are more than welcome to.

Another way to get to the venue would be by taxi cab. We would not recommend going the Uber/Lyft route as that might be overly expensive, especially if getting picked up directly from the airport.
