In February 2022, Andee went to Tavern on the Tracks, a Charlotte Buffalo Bills bar, to watch a Bills game with some friends. Stephen, a Patriots fan, also happened to be at the Tavern with friends (he claims to have been there for the food, not to watch the Bills). As the game goes on, one of Andee's friends, Brett Cockerham, was playing her wingman, sees Stephen and approaches him.

After a few minutes of chatting and Brett saying his famous words to Stephen, "Well you are tall and she's tall, and you are good looking and she's good looking, you guys should talk", Andee and Stephen ended up exchanging numbers and the rest is history.
