Our Story

Andhiny's POV

It all started in La Mar..

I was out on vacation when Giovanni was newly hired as one of the ceviche chef. Three weeks later, we finally crossed paths. I walked into the restaurant and spotted the cute new guy so as per usual, I went to introduce myself and welcome the new employee. However, this new employee did not talk to me back.

The next few days, I kept going to the ceviche bar to talk to Giovanni, but he still never said anything back; he just gave a really awkward smile so I gave up. But, one day, I was walking by the ceviche bar and he said something a little inappropriate in Spanish and to his surprise, I understood everything he said.

Few months later, it was Giovanni's birthday and I invited him to go to my favorite local bar; better days ( little does he know I can really rack up a bar tap). We had some cocktails together and had a great time.

Fast forward 10 years later, we are about to continue our adventure together by tying the knot! We've gone through a lot together in the ten years that we've been together and now the sky's the limit for our relationship. We are head over heels in love, and yes we are cheesy, but we are so excited and can't wait to fulfill the next chapter in our lives.

Giovanni's POV

Don't let her fool you all!!! It is not like that, she is making me sound like a creepy man.

It al started in La mar...

I just started working at the ceviche bar. I was 26 year old, single, and in my prime. Couple of weeks after, I saw una linda chinita and right away I know she was interested on me. She was more than nice she was flirting with me, but my English was not very good looking so I just smiled. In my head I was like why this Peruvian girl is talking to me in English and not in Spanish so I can really show my skills.

Then I found out she was not Peruvian so I said what I've been keeping for weeks; "oye mami tu si estas bien buena" and she turned around and said "I understood, si hablo Espanol."

Few months after it was my birthday and we went to a local bar. That's when my life changed, I didn't drink alcohol before. I kissed her in Brickell avenue, gave her a ride on my scooter, and dedicated goals for her in soccer. You wonder how we communicate? We didn't need to talk to know that we wanted to be together. Ten years later we are getting married and I'm so happy to have chosen this life.
