November is some of the most beautiful months in Miami! but, be sure you check the weather and dress appropriately. It may be hot, so you may want to consider wearing sunscreen and/or sunglasses. The ceremony site is covered in sand, so heels are discouraged. ( you may even want to be barefoot), but bring shoes for the reception.
Our ceremony site and reception venue is at different locations, we suggest that you carpool. The ceremony and reception venue are about 10 minutes away from each other.
there are plenty of parking at the ceremony site, and parking is $10 per car. At the reception, there's complimentary valet parking.
Crandon park is HUGE! There's several entrances. Follow the signs for the Nature Center and be sure to enter by the nature center across from Crandon Park golf course (it is the first left once you enter Crandon Park area; first LEFT not first U-TURN). When you enter, go straight and park right on the first row for easiest access to the ceremony site. you will find us in between lifeguard house 3 and 4!
We would like to start the ceremony promptly at 4:00pm. please make sure that you are seated by 3:45 the latest so we can start on time.
You can start heading over to the Rusty Pelican once the ceremony is over. Cocktail hour will start at 5:30. The Rusty Pelican have a great happy hour if you'd like to grab a drink before cocktail hour starts :)
Dinner will be served in stations so we can get the party started as soon as possible!!! We will have a Paella station, Prime rib carving station and Ceviche Station!
We are kindly asking that children don't attend the wedding unless they are in the wedding party. We have very limited seating and the Rusty Pelican is very strict on guest capacity. On Thursday, the night before the wedding, you can bring your children to the welcome party at Regatta Grove, but keep in mind the venue is family friendly until 6pm. After 6pm it is strictly 21 and up.
