Andi + Josh

October 5, 2024 • Vancouver, BC, Canada

Why did you choose this location?

Andi and Josh are both big fans of traveling, so a destination wedding of some sort was always on the table. In addition, our friends and family are a diaspora from LA to NYC to Florida and everywhere in between. Canada was brought up because of proximity to the US and the affordability. With a beneficial exchange rate, cheaper costs for weddings in general, and ease of travel for US citizens, all that was left was to choose the city. After going to the pacific northwest in 2022, Vancouver topped the list.

What is the dress code for the ceremony?

Formal, for example, ladies should wear cocktail attire dresses while men should wear suits and ties. No white dresses, please. Red and black are good to go, Martin.

Do I need to bring a gift?

While we're very thankful for any gifts, the easiest way to support us would be to contribute through our registry! Card box will be available!

How do I get there? (City, Hotel, Venue, etc)

Besides flying, Vancouver has an excellent public transit system. The venue is located only a few minutes from the downtown area and is on one of the major bus/rail lines. Parking is limited at the venue, so for the wedding, please use ride sharing or public transit. Easy!

What's the Vancouver weather like this time of year?

Average temperatures during the day are low 60's during this time. It will dip down to the high 40s at night. There is a 30% chance of rain on any given day during this time. Ceremony and reception will be indoors.

This seems like a long trip, should we plan to be with you guys the whole time?

No! We want everyone to use this wedding as an opportunity to have a wonderful vacation. We will be there from September 28th-October 7th. You are more than welcome to come before, stay longer, or anything in between. The only day we ask for is October 5th! We'd love an invite to any fun things you guys do though!
