In the heart of Louisiana, two souls embarked on a journey that would forever change their lives. It all began when they crossed paths through mutual friends, Gretchen and Bryce. Little did they know, their story would unfold into a beautiful tale of friendship, love, and shared passions. As fate would have it, their first meeting was unassuming, yet it marked the beginning of something truly special. It was love at first sight when Andi met Bailey and Mocha. They quickly discovered a common interest in the culinary arts. Cooking together became one of their favorite pastimes, a canvas for their creativity and a bond that deepened with every dish they prepared. But their shared hobbies didn't stop there. They had a penchant for the arts, particularly painting. During the pandemic, they embarked on artistic adventures together, inspired by the tranquil landscapes of the legendary Bob Ross. Each stroke of the brush on their canvases mirrored the beauty of their growing connection. In between these creative pursuits, they also mastered the art of doing as little as possible during their downtime. Lazy weekends, TV marathons, and leisurely strolls became the backdrop to their love story, a testament to the comfort they found in each other's presence. Life took an unexpected turn when they decided to venture beyond their beloved Louisiana. They embarked on a two-year adventure in Illinois, a journey that would test their bond but ultimately strengthen it. Amidst the freezing temperatures and snowy days, they found solace in one another. Then, on a serene afternoon at Prospect Park in Illinois, in between Mocha and Bailey barks, he knelt down and proposed. After a teary "YES," their hearts intertwined as they embraced this new chapter in their story. With joyful hearts and a lifetime of memories, they made their way back home to Louisiana. Here, amidst the bayous and magnolias, they decided to celebrate their love with friends and family, forever grateful for the chance encounter that brought them together. Join us on our special day as we embark on this new chapter of our love story, filled with shared passions, cherished memories, and the promise of a lifetime together.

When booking, please be aware that there are other Holiday Inns in Alexandria and book the correct location. As Uber and Lyft are unavailable in Alexandria, we recommend staying at this downtown location.
