Andrea and Ty met after a fateful right swipe on the dating app Bumble back in May 2020, where they bonded over their extensive bookshelves and love of dogs. Their first date was watching Shutter Island at Andrea’s house since the world was still shut down (there was some concern about Ty possibly being a murderer, but he really came through).

Together they love to travel to new places, hike, and try new restaurants. Their favorite trips have been Arizona 2021 and Utah 2022.

Ty pulled off the best surprise proposal in June 2023 during a peddle bar tour with some of Andrea’s closest friends. Soon after, they bought a house together in Lake Orion, Michigan and have had so much fun exploring their new city.
