Andrea and Remi met on Bumble in April 2021. Their first date was virtual (Bumble had a trivia game) but their first in-person date was at K-Pot Hot Pot. (A goal of theirs is to go to every Hot Pot place in and around Philly). After dating for a few months, the two officially became a couple in July of that year, and have been together happily ever since.

They moved into their home in Manayunk together in June, 2023.

June 26 is an important date to us, as it will mark the 11 year anniversary of Obergefell v. Hodges, the Supreme Court decision that determined same-sex couples in the United States are also guaranteed the right to marriage.
