The dress code is formal attire. For men, this means suits or dress shirts - ties optional. For women, this means dresses (floor length or cocktail), jumpsuits, pants, or skirts.
Can I bring a guest?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.
Are children welcome?
We are empathetic to the fact that some families may be travelling overseas with young children, so children will be welcome for this reason. Limited accommodation will be made for child-minding only during the dinner. The celebrations will go on until the early hours, so please make arrangements for your children after the dinner.
Although we love your children, we would also love to celebrate with you to the fullest - if you are local and are able to arrange for child-minding, please do!
What time should I arrive?
For the ceremony, please try and arrive at 12:30pm latest for a prompt 1:00pm start.
Please allow for 45-60 minutes to travel to the reception at Darver Castle from St. Patrick's Church in Skerries.
The cocktail hour at Darver Castle begins at 3:15pm.
What will the weather be like?
Ireland? In April? It's a bloody dice roll, but we're praying for good weather!
Where should I park?
Parking is limited outside the church, but there is a large parking lot behind SuperValu across the road.
There is plenty of free parking available on site at Darver Castle.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes!
What should I wear?
Please see our Schedule for the dress code. Formal for the wedding, smart casual for day two.
I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?
Please see the "Accommodation" page for details on booking the castle directly or info on booking a hotel/AirBnB.
