Amanda and Andrew met while volunteering with an organization called MEDLIFE in Lima, Peru. They were traveling with a group from Oakland University, where they both went to college.

Andrew asked Amanda on their first date on his birthday.

They first said "I love you" at the Meadow Brook Ball.

Andrew and Amanda closed on their house in Kalamazoo (crazily enough the same day Amanda graduated from Oakland University).

Amanda and Andrew adopted their puppy, Kahlua.

Andrew proposed to Amanda at sunset on the first day of their Caribbean cruise to Grand Cayman and Cozumel.
