Yes, there is plenty of free parking available! There are a few handicap spots right by the pavilion.

Our dress code for the wedding is semi-formal.

We plan to have our ceremony outside if the weather allows. The rest of the celebration will be centered in an open-air pavilion that is covered. Air-conditioned bathrooms are available next to the dance floor.

You are welcome to enjoy the beauty and romance of our venue starting as early as 4 PM. Big R Orchard is a family owned farm -and working apple & peach orchard with a 6 acre lake and a golf green peninsula located on Brushy Mountain in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. While our ceremony begins at 5 PM, there will be a string quartet beginning to play on the green peninsula at 4:30 PM. Feel free to get there as early as 4 PM to come enjoy God's beautiful creation and listen to the string music by the water.

As much as we'd love to invite all of our friend's children, we can only accommodate a few close family children due to budget/space constraints and liability at the venue. We hope that you will understand and that you will still be able to join us on our special day.

Our ceremony will be "unplugged," which means that we request that you refrain from having your phone out once the ceremony has begun. We have booked a photographer and videographer. We will share all of our professional photos and video after our wedding!

The ceremony requires that guests walk down a hill to a flat green where chairs will be. A shuttle service for elderly & guests with special needs will be provided to help them get to and from the pavilion to the green for the ceremony. Please let us know ahead of time if you anticipate needing this service.

Official invitations will be sent out in the beginning of 2024! Please respond by May 1st 2024. This will allow us to communicate final numbers to our vendors.
