Have a picnic below the rockface, go for a dip at the bottom of the waterfall, or go for a hike to the top with stunning mountain views on the Stone Mountain Loop Trail!

Drive over the dam, walk around the trails by the water or through the woods, or have a picnic! There are numerous mountain bike trails here, all of which Andrew rides often.

Drive up 421 and hop onto the parkway! Enjoy a scenic drive and take in the beautiful views. There are many overlooks and trails to pull off for. The Grandview Overlook is where we got engaged! If you have time, take a trip up to the Linn Cove Viaduct.

Directly off of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Doughton Park has incredible hiking and is truly a hidden gem. This is where Ashlyn and I did our engagement photos! Be sure to walk to the bald that is near the picnic area for a near 360-degree panoramic view of the Appalachian mountains.
