What's the attire?

We request that your attire be formal to respect the special location of the service. We suggest that men wear a suit in any color and women wear an evening gown or a midi- or knee-length cocktail dress.

What time should I arrive?

We ask that you arrive before the ceremony, between 3:30 pm and 3:45 pm. Late arrivals may not be permitted to enter once the ceremony has begun. If you miss the ceremony, we will be happy to celebrate with you at our reception venue at 6:00 pm.

Can I bring someone not listed on my invitation?

As we gather to celebrate our love, please note that space at each venue is limited. We kindly request that only the number of individuals specified on your invitation attend the ceremony and reception.

Is there onsite parking?

Yes! For the ceremony, enter the main horseshoe driveway from South Carrolton. Continue around the driveway past the main building and follow the provided signage. Drive through the gate into the main parking lot. There is ample onsite parking available at our reception venue as well.

Will food and drinks be provided?

Guests will be offered passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, as well as an open bar which will be available throughout the evening. Guests will also be offered a buffet-style dinner with a variety of options, including selections for guests with dietary restrictions. Wedding cake will be served after dinner.

When is the deadline to RSVP?

To ensure that there is enough food for everyone, all guests must RSVP no later than April 30th.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.

Can I RSVP online, or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

We offer both mail-in and online RSVP options. The QR code to RSVP on our website can be found in your invitation. Please see the RSVP tab on our website for details.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

We will not be reserving hotel room blocks for our wedding, as we want to give our guests the flexibility to choose accommodations that best suit their preferences and budgets. There are a variety of great options nearby. For recommendations, please see the "Travel" tab.

Will there be transportation to and from the venues?

Transportation will only be provided for members of the bridal party. All other guests are responsible for their own transportation between the ceremony and reception venues.

What's the best airport to use?

The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is about 15 minutes from our venues. A link to the airport website can be found under the "Travel" tab.

What's the weather and climate like in the area?

The New Orleans area is typically warm and humid this time of year, with frequent rainfall. Therefore, all wedding activities will take place indoors. The average temperature for this time of year is about 85°F.

Am I allowed to take photos during the wedding?

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding ceremony unplugged and refrain from taking photos or videos. A professional photographer will be capturing the ceremony. If you would like us to share these photos, please contact Andrew or Kyra. During the reception, you are welcome to take as many photos as you’d like.

Can you suggest places to eat, drink, and see while I'm in town for your wedding?

Yes! The wedding and reception will take place just outside of New Orleans, where there are plenty of amazing things to see and do. Please visit the "Things to Do" tab on our website for a list of recommendations.

How long does it take to drive from the ceremony venue to the reception venue?

The drive from the ceremony venue to the reception venue is about 12 miles and takes approximately 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic.
