Will we need National Park passes to attend the wedding?
Yes, the National Park Service sells passes by the week for $35 per vehicle. We are encouraging car pooling as much as possible as parking spots are limited at the ceremony site.
Where *exactly* is the ceremony happening?
North Mormon Row, Grand Teton National Park. The coordinates are: 43.665417, -110.664444 or 43°39'55.5"N 110°39'52.0"W. There is a parking lot, pit toilets, and a paved walk way.
When *exactly* is the ceremony taking place?
Sunrise, which will be around 7:00am MDT. It is the busiest time of day for the location so we suggest planning to arrive early and carpool. There are only 14 spots and we cannot reserve any. If the lot fills up, there is overflow parking at Mormon Row South which is about a .25 mile walk or Antelope Flats which is about a 1 mile walk.
What will the weather be like at sunrise in September?
Cold. We are anticipating 30-40 degree weather as the sunrises. Temperatures will rise up to 70 degrees as the day continues but dress very warm for the ceremony.
Will there be chairs at the ceremony?
We were able to reserve 11 chairs but we have to bring them ourselves. We are currently searching for somewhere to rent some in the area and will update this questions if we find some. There will definitely be at least 2-3 backpacking chairs we can bring from home if we need to.
Will there be a reception?
Not in the traditional sense. We will be going to brunch after the ceremony and will have some games and things to do planned for the few hours before we leave for the honeymoon.
