Aaron and I met in high school our junior year. We met through my big sister, Selena and Aaron's older cousin, Carlton in the summer of 1998. We dated and attended Aaron's Junior Prom at Elmhurst High School, (that was very interesting night!) Needless to say, that night did not go as I expected it to go (lol). Aaron and I then parted our separate ways and went on with our lives until January 29, 2015, at 11:52 am when I received an in-box message from Aaron saying, "What's Up Miss Lady. How Has Life Been Treating You?"

Aaron and I, texted back-and-forth, went on a few dates for about one-year. I kind of backed off for a few weeks because I had been hurt so many times in previous relationships and was not feeling getting into another serious relationship. Aaron also backed off until July 13, 2016. My daughter, Ayanna was having a birthday party and wanted to invite Aaron's daughter, Ajanae. I called him to ask if Ajanae could come with me and my daughter. Of course, Aaron was not going for it at first, but we finally got a yes after 7 plus times trying (lol).

We then met at Wal-Mart to pick up Ajanae for the party. When I pulled up at Wal-Mart and looked into his eyes, I knew then that he was the one I wanted to be with forever! It was like God said to me: "Don't let him slip away!" Every day from July 13, 2016, until now, we have not missed a beat!
