Aaron's Story

As he thought about it not one day has gone by that they had not talked since the reunion. He knew that he had "messed up" when they were kids, junior year, and now they both laugh when they reminisce -- smiles! But, back to the story. As the years went on, they lost touch with each other. He wasn't looking to go into another relationship, but he was looking to right the wrongs of the past concerning her.

Eventually, they found each other again. They began to reach out to each other, and there were a few promising moments, even a date or two, but it was rather short-lived. He could tell that she needed her space, and he could take the hint! So, once again, they began to drift apart for a few months, but as God would have it, there children brought them back together - - obviously they were meant for each other.

Their children hooked up at school, and they wanted a sleep-over (the girls) Now, anybody that knew him, knew that he did not play about his kids. They are precious to him, so he was reluctant to give his permission for the sleep-over. He even tried to come up with every excuse in the book, but the babies had other plans - - and so did God - - smiles! The kids won and finally they met up at Wal-Mart, and she told him to bring the boys also, this was for her daughter's birthday party and the party began at the skating rink. Now, his kids loved to skate, so he could not say no.

While at the party, it looked like she was not interested in him, but as the party ended, she said to him, "I am going to call you tonight." He laughed and said to himself, "Yeah, right!" (smiles), but, to his surprise, she did call, and they shared for hours their particular life's situations.

Well, in conclusion, as you can imagine, the two continued to call and text until their love for one-another began to grow. They both could tell that God was doing something amazing in their lives. God was working on uniting them as one and on April 13, 2024, the story of
