August 2015: New Guy in IT.

Angela: "No. We work together."

Co-worker: "He's way over on the other side of the building and he's in another department, I think you should go out with him."

....months later:

Angela: "I really need to get back to my office, we always have way too much to chat about all the time. We really should meet for happy hour one day."

June 8, 2017: THE PUMP HOUSE~Happy Hour (This feels like a date and we're both acting a little weird now.)

Angela: "Again, we're just friends. He's too introverted and not very direct. I will chew him up and spit him out. We're all wrong for each other"

Justin: "Do you like Hot tubs in the mountains? (Well, THAT was direct and he's funny!)

Angela: "We're just friends."

Justin: "Uhmmm, but you've kinda been giving me mixed signals."

Angela: "I have, haven't I?"

JUST FRIENDS on June 21, 2017:

Angela: "I can't remember the basic steps to the Lindy Hop and I'm having a 1940's themed 4th of July party."

Justin: "Hey, I used to take dance lessons with a woman I dated. I can show you. You can come over to my place after work. I can move the furniture so we can dance.

Angela: "That would be great! And you should come to the party."

November 2017: We escape to Asheville together to see where this is going. Best time ever! Wow.

Justin: "I told the guys I was chasing a skirt in Finance."

Angela: "Very Funny, Sweet Man."

...He introduces me to his hockey buddies

...He introduces me to Ivan & Becky

...He takes me home for the Holidays.

Angela: "I swear I've never met a man like him before. Boy, I had him all wrong and he continues to surprise me. There seems to be something very real about opposites attracting."

8 Years Later....

He will forever be Sweet Man when I call his name. He lives up to it daily. I have learned so much about love from him. He has my heart forever and I have never felt more loved. All I want is to see this man happy and know how proud I am to be sharing a name with him soon!
