Back in 2018, Nick and Angela crossed paths during karaoke night at JJ’s in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Nick had not even met Angela yet but boldly claimed her seat while she was in the restroom. Angela returned to find her seat hijacked, but Nick refused to budge and offered a Raspberry Wheat drink as a peace offering instead.

Fast forward to January 2020, they finally went on their first date. Since then, their relationship has been filled with adventures, endless laughs, and egg rolls.

In May 2024, Nick and Angela were traveling around Europe with his siblings, taking in all the history, incredible views, and gelato. One of their stops was Villa Balbianello on Lake Como—a breathtaking spot famous for its beauty and its cameo in a few iconic movies, such as Star Wars. As they explored the Villa, they stopped to take pictures at the exact spot where Padmé and Anakin got married in the movie. And right there, with the magic of Lake Como all around them, Nick got down on one knee and proposed! And of course, Angela said "Yes!"
